Well, this seems to be how the two companies are setting up their stalls for the early part of next gen. For those of us who are generally unimpressed by 'indie' games it makes the choice easy..
Impressions have been good so far, apart from that televised incident where it didn't work.. oh, that was the other thing.
Nope, not even close.
Looks a good game though!
Ah, classic!
'Indie' tends to mean cheaper budget, smaller teams and less experienced teams, so it's quite natural to assume the games won't be as good as AAA ones. Not always, of course.
Space Harrier.. After Burner.. Rez.. Panzer Dragoon.. Sin and Punishment.. Thunder Blade.. Child of Eden.. StarFox.. Time Crisis..
Glorious
Good work Phil.
More exclusives :)
Nope, just able to distinguish a nice-looking game from a butt-ugly one.
Art style is friggin' hideous.
I was going to *try* and find time to play this during a jam-packed winter but realistically it was going to be tough - wise to go 2014.
Aren't we past this yet?
This is a very sweet looking game, Ubisoft can name its price.
Pumped for the new Eminem album but less so the new COD..
Strongly disagree, looking at the types of games 'indies' focus on it seems they're more in line with the past of the industry.
Preview of how I'll be spending 22 November, lol.
Sega's teams on Dreamcast.. will we ever see its like again?
Good point Kamiya, I'll just pop down to my local, thriving arcade and play a few credits on Wonderful 101 then decide whether or not to buy it.
I think it's great they're doing that - show off the less obvious/new features of the console. The launch lineup is so strong it speaks for itself.
Mario 3D World, DKC: Tropical Freeze, Sonic Lost World.
This winter is AMAZING for Wii U.
I'm really looking forward to it actually. Launch games often have an element of being rushed, Kameo for example last gen, but I'm still fond of that game.
